Taxes and duties are imposed by the destination country. Most countries have a de minimis value. If your combined parcel is under the de minimis value, you will be exempt from paying some or all taxes and duties. In Saudi Arabia, the de minimis value for both tax and duty is 1,000 SAR.
However, like many countries, Saudi Arabia has imposed a Value Added Tax (VAT) on imported goods. In January 2018, VAT of 5% on the total shipment value was applied to all overseas orders. This was amended to 15% in July 2020. This VAT is not paid by Stackry and is usually recovered from the carrier upon delivery. For orders over $266USD, additional paperwork may be required.
